Lyft is a great employment opportunity for those who have a 4-door vehicle (year 2000 or newer) and a smartphone. Lyft is a privately held, San Francisco–based transportation networking company that uses a mobile application to facilitate peer-to-peer ride-sharing by enabling passengers who need a ride to request one from drivers who have a car. In order to use the app and request rides, passengers must register with their Facebook profile and enter a valid credit card. All payments are made electronically. There is no cash exchanged to promote safety for the drivers. There is no set schedule. Lyft is available 24/7. You can drive whenever you want. A minimum of 1 Lyft per month is required to remain an active driver. 

There is a maximum of 12 hours before you are required to take an 8 hour break. Lyft pays every week via direct deposit. Passengers pay fares calculated by mileage + time. Normally, Lyft drivers make 80% of the fare plus tips. Right now Lyft is paying 100% of the fare, so the time to act is now!! There is a background check required and then you will meet with a Lyft mentor. The mentor will inspect your vehicle for safety and upload your DL and insurance documents to Lyft corporate. You will also take a quick test drive in order to learn how to use the mobile app. The application process is simple and many have had success making substantial money.
